The Jollygist

The purpose of my The Jollygist BLOG is to help explain the Australian junior exploration industry.

I have written articles and will continue to write and refresh articles that seek to explain certain specific aspects of the sector, the exploration process, exploration thinking/strategies, and exploration results. I will highlight junior explorer results which are of particular interest.

  • What’s the difference between the reverse circulation (RC) drilling v’s rotary air blasting (RAB) drilling techniques.
  • Why use geophysics for targeting?
  • What does this assay result mean?
  • What does mineralised mean?
  • Etcetera, etcetera…

I also provide an online service to help investors understand ASX-listed exploration companies’ ASX announcements, presentations, quarterly activity reports. This service is personalised and upon request. Please read the sample review on this website as an example of an ASX announcement review. I’ll answer your questions, I’ll “read between the lines”, I’ll explain the jargon, I’ll predict the next steps, and I’ll furnish you with questions that you could ask company management. Your review is yours, it will not be posted/shared in any way.

Importantly. I do not obtain or seek commentary or comments from the company. Your review is based solely on my opinion only, so you are not receiving a repeat of the company narrative. The reviews are all based on publicly available information – a ASX announcement(s), presentations or the quarterly activity reports.

I do not comment on financial reports of any description. Nor will I comment on individuals.
